BREMER State High School brings its annual Careers Expo to the city from tomorrow until Saturday.
The event has grown even bigger and is now held in collaboration with Ipswich Region Chamber of Commerce.
Tailored towards years 9, 10, 11, and 12 students, it will offer a golden opportunity to explore diverse career paths and educational avenues that await them after school.
The Ipswich Region Business, Careers, and Jobs Expo is designed to bridge the gap between education and industry.
It connects students with local businesses, support organisations, employers, training providers and universities.
“It’s an immersive experience where students can gain insights into lots of different career fields,” a Bremer State High spokeswoman said.
“Students can learn about essential skills and qualifications and discover pathways to achieve their career aspirations.”
The Ipswich Region Business, Careers, and Jobs Expo will give students a chance to meet local employers, learn firsthand from professionals, explore training and education options and connect with universities.
On Saturday, the Expo welcomes parents, guardians, carers, and community members to attend for a firsthand look at career opportunities and pathways.
Admission is free for all attendees.
Look out for The Ipswich Tribune display stand there too!
The program of events on Saturday is free and runs from 9am to 3pm at the Events Centre, Ipswich Showgrounds.
