THE Ipswich Region Chamber of Commerce revealed the finalists for the 2025 Business Excellence Awards at an Ipswich Turf Club event last week.
The awards, themed “Energy and Excellence”, recognise businesses and individuals demonstrating innovation, resilience, and contribution to the Ipswich community.
Three finalists were announced in each of the 14 categories:
GWT Earthmoving – Building & Construction Award: Finalists: DNE Civil and Hire, Plumbing & Bathroom Specialists, The ACS Group Qld Pty Ltd.
Media Operandi – Business Support Services Award: Finalists: F.A.S.T. Training Australia, Ken Newton Management Consultant, Things To Do In Ipswich.
TAE Aerospace – Community Involvement Award: Finalists: Brothers Leagues Club Ipswich, V.I.T.A.L. ProJeX, Wounded Heroes Australia.
The Boulevarde – Customer Service Award: Finalists: Maid in Ipswich, The Llama Farm, Trent Scott Plumbing & Solar Alstom.
Education & Training Award: Finalists: Bremer State High School, ETC Ltd, The Industry School – Ipswich.
Lockyer Fruit & Veggie Cooperative – Food & Agribusiness Award: Finalists: Gluten Free 4u Ipswich Pty Ltd, Monte Lane, Pet Mince Direct.
West Moreton Health – Health & Care Award: Finalists: Ignite Community Services, Ipswich Hospice Care Ltd, Rise Physio & Health.
Bishopp – Property & Real Estate Award: Finalists: Crowne Real Estate, Real Living Property Group, She’s My Broker.
JMK Retail – Retail Business Award: Finalists: Gluten Free 4u Ipswich Pty Ltd, Nextra Yamanto Central, Temptations Fashion Boutique.
CPC Productions – Tourism Award: Finalists: EWE Nique Hobby Farm, Queensland Museum Rail Workshops, The Stony Creek Brewing Company.
TAFE Queensland – Young Business Person of the Year Award: Finalists: Dylan Noden, Amie Tarrant, Melissa Wright.
River 949 – Business Person of the Year Award: Finalists: Melissa Bulow, Kirsty Dutney-Jones, Mark Smits.
Ipswich City Council – Small Business of the Year Award: Finalists: GT Air, Matt Bull Window Tinting, Monte Lane.
VE Group – Business of the Year Award: Finalists: Binnacle Training, Brothers Leagues Club Ipswich, Pet Mince Direct.
A new Emerging Business Award for businesses operating less than two years has also been introduced. Finalists are General Public, Ignite Fitouts, and The Café Providence Ripley.
David Wiltshire, President of the Ipswich Region Chamber of Commerce, said: “We are proud to recognise these outstanding businesses. Their achievements drive success and strengthen our community.”
The winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Events Centre, Ipswich Showgrounds.
