What does a $500,000 Ipswich home look like?

Outside there’s a double garage and patio. Inside the master bedroom has an ensuite and all bedrooms have built in cupboards. The large kitchen opens into the dining and living areas. The house is air conditioned and has ceiling fans. The property was last on the market in 2010 when it sold for $178,900.

NORTH IPSWICH: A Delacy Street home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms sold for $500,000. The traditional 1920s home on a 759sqm block has high ceilings, timber VJ walls and timber floors, a front verandah and a rear deck. The open plan living and dining room and one of the bedrooms are air conditioned and the kitchen and laundry have good storage capacity. In addition, there’s an air conditioned shed with a kitchenette and bathroom. The property was last on the market in 2009 when it sold for $198,500.

EASTERN HEIGHTS: A well maintained three-bedroom, one-bathroom home in Kiah Street sold for $500,000. The spacious kitchen has a servery out onto a covered patio, the separate living and dining room and two of the bedrooms are air conditioned. There’s an extra room which could be used as a living area or study. The home is located on a 607sqm corner block and has tank water storage for the garden. The property was last on the market in 2005 when it sold for $215,000.

TIVOLI: An older home on a 1,000sqm block on Boundary Street sold for $500,000. Features include high ceilings, tongue and groove walls, casement windows, fretwork and French doors. There’s three bedrooms, one bathroom, a large kitchen with lots of cupboards. Yard fencing encloses an established garden. The laundry is built in under the home and there’s a 2kW solar system. The property was last on the market in 2000 when it sold for $60,000.

WULKURAKA: A four-bedroom, two-bathroom brick home on a 801sqm block in Chanel Court sold for $500,000. The master bedroom has an ensuite and walk in robe, and there are two large and separate living areas divided by a large kitchen with lots of storage. The yard is fully fenced and has a pergola. The property was last on the market in 2009 when it sold for $187,000.

YAMANTO: A 10-year-old home with four bedrooms and two bathrooms in Sarah Drive sold for $500,000. The master bedroom has an ensuite and walk in robe, the kitchen is adjacent to a tiled living and dining area, the lounge is carpeted and there is lots of storage. The 630sqm yard is fenced, the double garage is remote controlled and houses the laundry area. The property was last on the market in 2019 when it sold for $340,000.

EAST IPSWICH: A three-bedroom, one-bathroom home on a flood free 782sqm block on Merton Street sold for $500,000. Features include a covered deck into the backyard, an air conditioned master bedroom and living room, a large kitchen and side access on both sides of the property. The backyard is fenced and has a shed and cubby house. There is also a double carport. The property was last on the market in 2008 when it sold for $310,000.

FLINDERS VIEW: A four-bedroom, two-bathroom home on an elevated 711sqm block in Hillier Court sold for $500,000. The large lounge is separate to the dining and kitchen area and there’s also a second living room which overlooks the covered pergola area. It has a large modern kitchen and the home also has security screens. The drive through carport is enclosed with a roller door. The backyard has a garden shed. The property was last on the market in 2013 when it sold for $350,000.

 

BRASSALL: Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are found in this house on Jellico Street which sold for $500,000. The double storey 1960s home has been fully renovated and is located on a 660sqm block. The kitchen, dining and family room are open plan and air conditioned and there is a large rumpus room with a kitchenette and bathroom. The 660sqm yard is fully fenced and features a large covered patio. The kitchen has timber benchtops and an island bench. The bedrooms are upstairs, with the main living areas at ground level. The property was last on the market in 1994 when it sold for $46,500.

 

COALFALLS: A 1970s style home with three bedrooms and a bathroom on a 698sqm block in Macrae Street sold for $500,000. It’s a home with views, a large deck and an easy care established garden. The main bedroom has lots of cupboard space and private access to the verandah. The timber floored dining and living rooms are open plan and the kitchen has plenty of storage and views to the ranges. The yard is fully fenced and there’s a concrete driveway leading to the double bay carport. The property was last on the market in 1979 when it sold for $26,000.

REDBANK PLAINS: A home on a 304sqm allotment in Stirling Circuit sold for $500,000. The four-bedroom, two-bathroom house has an open plan kitchen, air conditioned living room and undercover outdoor area and an air conditioned living room. The master bedroom has an ensuite and walk-in-robe and the other bedrooms have built in cupboards. The double garage has internal access. The property was last on the market in 2015 when it sold for $164,500.

BELLBIRD PARK: A five-bedroom, two-bathroom home on an 802sqm allotment in Buttler Street sold for $500,000. There are three bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs and its newly painted and carpeted. There are two sheds on the block which is located opposite a children’s park. The property was last on the market in 2008 when it sold for $295,000.
