House sales in the half-a-million-dollar bracket in the Ipswich region

NORTH IPSWICH: A three-bedroom, one bathroom renovated home in Holdsworth Street on a corner block sold for $580,000. Features included a new kitchen and bathroom, polished timber floors, original double hung windows, a security system, air conditioning in the lounge and two of the bedrooms. The yard is fenced and has a well kept lawn.

RACEVIEW: Unit 2 of a three-bedroom, one bathroom duplex in Robertson Road was sold last week for $580,000. The lounge is situated at the front of the home and flows through to the back dining room which overlooks the backyard. The kitchen is located between the two rooms. The master bedroom has direct access to the two way bathroom. The backyard is fully fenced.

WALLOON: A recently built duplex in Mackellar Way, Walloon sold for $550,000 last week. The unit on one side has one bedroom and one bathroom, is air conditioned and designed along the lines of open plan living. The second, larger unit has three bedrooms, one bathroom, internal access from the garage and is also air conditioned and open plan. Both units are currently rented.

REDBANK PLAINS: A four-bedroom, two bathroom brick home in Huntley Crescent sold for $504,500 earlier this month. The lounge – dining area is air conditioned, a kitchen with lots of bench and cupboard space. Outside there’s an undercover area for outdoor dining and a well maintained lawn.

BUNDAMBA: A four-bedroom, two bathroom brick home in Carlisle Street sold earlier this month for $555,250. Located on an elevated block the home has a large main bedroom and ensuite, a well appointed kitchen, a spacious open plan living area and a family bathroom with both bath and shower. Windows have plantation shutters and screens and outside there’s a large undercover entertainment area and landscaped garden.

FLINDERS VIEW: A five-bedroom, two bathroom brick home in Hazelwood Court sold for $555,000 this month. The home has two separate living areas, the interior has been freshly painted and carpeted throughout and the master bedroom has an ensuite and walk in robe. It is air conditioned throughout and has a good sized kitchen and backyard.

SOUTH RIPLEY: A four-bedroom, two-bathroom home in William Bay Court sold for $490,000 last week. A four-year-old home with an ensuited main bedroom is air conditioned and the other bedrooms have ceiling fans and are serviced by a large family bathroom. It has a covered outdoor entertainment area, is fully fenced and has a remote controlled garage. The kitchen has stone benchtops and lots of cupboard space.

GOODNA: A four-bedroom, two-bathroom brick home on an elevated block in Attwood Way sold for $485,000 this month. The main bedroom has an ensuite, plenty of cupboard space in the centrally located kitchen, which overlooks the courtyard. It is freshly painted internally and is newly carpeted throughout. There’s a large, double garage, usable backyard space and is located close to parkland.

IPSWICH: A five-bedroom, two-bathroom timber home built around 1900 in Park Street sold for $550,850 last week. The colonial features have had modern structural upgrades but the timber floors, walls and ceilings have been retained. Upstairs there’s the main living, eating and relaxing area as well as three bedrooms. Downstairs, accessed by an internal staircase, there’s another two bedrooms, another large living area and the laundry. The yard is fully fenced.
