MORE than 2,000 students attended the Careers and Jobs Expo last weekend.
The Bremer State High School and Ipswich Region Chamber of Commerce event was the first partnership between the organisations.
The Expo allowed parents, carers and community members to explore what the world of work has to offer students.
Information was available on apprenticeships, traineeships, higher education opportunities and there were insights from employers, industry experts and employment support services.
A Bremer State High School spokeswoman said the three-day event was a huge success.
“We were thrilled to have welcomed so many students from local schools,” she said.
“This event was a testament to our community’s dedication to preparing our young people for bright futures.”
The Expo at the Ipswich Events Centre at the Showgrounds featured food trucks, interactive displays and a live radio broadcast.
