A MINI-Jurassic experience has opened in Ipswich.
The Ewe Nique Hobby Farm has created an exhibition complete with dinosaurs, birds, fish, and lush plants.
The Fins and Wings exhibit will feature three dinosaurs that children can touch and pose with for a photo.
There will also be a T-Rex and lots of toy dinos to play with.
Ewe Nique Hobby Farm co-owners Penny Allen and farmer Dave Hansen said the idea for the static show came to them after hearing parents talk about how much their children loved dinosaurs.
“We hope the adults will love this just as much as the children,” Ms Allen said.
“The exhibit will be a quiet space, with the chance to sit and watch the birds in the giant aviary or the fish in the pond, and to marvel at some giant replica dinosaurs.
“We know families are doing it tough so we’ve released a special opening price which will be extended until the end of the September school holidays,” Ms Allen said.
Entry to the hobby farm to pet the animals and the new dinosaur exhibit at Haigslea will be $10 for children and $12.50 for adults.
